Cinema 4D

I decided I'm going to learn Cinema 4D - so to kick things off, I followed this tutorial. But something is amiss. I'm using a later version of C4D than the one in this tutorial (maybe it's earlier? shit, I don't even know). Something about the Bend deformer not working properly. Hopefully I'll have this all sorted out next week.
